What is your favorite thing about working at ClearTrust?
I love my job because everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. In addition, ClearTrust cares about my professional growth and my managers listen to my ideas or concerns. They work to create a plan of action to better the work environment and operations with my ideas in mind.
What fictional place would you most like to go?
I would love to the opportunity to visit Never Never Land. I love the concept of no TIME, flying and everything you do is ok. You are able to eat what you want and not have to suffer the consequences. I would have to say flying like superman would be awesome.
What TV channel doesn’t exist but really should?
GOTV. Game of Thrones all day every day. I am a huge fan of these newer TV series.
What’s the most interesting piece of art you’ve seen?
I have seen Sir Nicholas Throckmorton at St Katherine Church in London. I am looking forward to return and seeing the Coat of Arms that was recently found. The cathedrals are just amazing all over Europe. I was lucky to be able to tour England. I also, really enjoyed seeing the Queen’s jewels and Shakespeare’s house where he was born.
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
I relax by keeping work at work, changing into comfortable clothes, long hot showers, watching TV or movies, exercising and stretching.
What is one of your favorite smells?
I absolutely love the smell of Thanksgiving dinner. Everything smells so wonderful from the bread being baked to pumpkin pie to the turkey to the dressing. It is so hard not sneaking food out of the kitchen.
Have you ever give to any charities?
I have given to a lot of charities including March of Dimes, Susan B. Colman Breast Cancer Fund, & Charity Pot, which supports 1400+ grassroot charities in 42 countries in aiding humanitarian, environmental and animal rights. In addition to supporting FunD which supports creating a safe place for children to play in Japan. These children were effected by the 2011 earthquake. I have also supported several other charities through church that ranges supporting children to single parents and a wide variety of people in need.
What is the “holy grail” of your life?
The holy grail of my life is Jesus Christ.
What’s the best and worst thing about getting older?
The best thing about getting older is you have the time to do all the things you could not do before retirement. The worst part is being too tired or having medical conditions that prevent you from doing all the things you want to do.
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is a tie between Zig Ziggler who said, “If you keep pumping, eventually the water will come out;” and Dale Carnegie who said, “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.”
